Poetry Group

The Poetry Group meets on the first Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. in Yack Community Centre. Join us! You don’t need to be a poet – bring one or two of your favourite pieces or just come and listen and enjoy the magic of words. “Animated”, a presentation of poems about animals. (In Yackandandah Public Hall).

“Funniest Poems in the HumourVerse”, an evening of amusing poems. (At Java@Yack)

“Powerful Poems: Australian Reactions to World War One”. (Performance at Yack Museum).

“Word Paintings”. Spoken images of landscape. (At Grace’s Place, Yack).

Publication of “Life Size”, an anthology of poems by members of the group.
